Wett Edits Refund Policy

Effective Date: 07/07/2026

This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs refunds, cancellations, and related remedies for the custom graphic design services provided by Jack Wetterling, doing business as Wett Edits ("Wett Edits," "I," "me," "my," "we," "us," or "our").

By submitting an order, making payment, or otherwise engaging Wett Edits, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not submit an order.

All Wett Edits products are custom, made-to-order digital services. Once design work has begun, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued, except where required by applicable law.

1. Custom, Made-to-Order Services

Every graphic produced by Wett Edits is individually designed based on the information and creative direction you provide. The work is personal, non-standardized, and cannot be resold, repurposed, or transferred to another customer.

For this reason, Wett Edits' Services are treated as custom goods and services that are not eligible for return or refund once production has begun.

2. Order Submission Constitutes Commencement of Work

Submission of an order is deemed the commencement of design work.

By submitting and paying for an order, you acknowledge and agree that Wett Edits immediately begins allocating time, creative resources, and design labor to your project. Accordingly:

  • All payments become non-refundable at the moment your order is submitted.
  • Refunds will not be issued for changed circumstances, changed plans, buyer's remorse, delayed athletic decisions, or any other reason within the customer's control.
  • This is true regardless of whether a preview or draft has yet been delivered.

3. Pre-Work Cancellation Requests

If, in Wett Edits' sole determination, no meaningful design work has yet been performed on your order, you may request a cancellation by contacting us as soon as possible after purchase.

Any refund issued under this section is at Wett Edits' sole discretion. Wett Edits may deduct reasonable processing fees, payment-provider fees, and time already invested. No cancellation or refund is guaranteed.

4. Customer Responsibility for Creative Direction

It is the customer's sole responsibility to communicate the desired style, look, feel, references, colors, mood, and any specific creative requirements at the time of order submission.

Wett Edits can only work from the information provided. Vague, incomplete, or absent creative direction shall be interpreted by Wett Edits at its sole creative discretion, and the resulting design is deemed satisfactory delivery of the Services.

Failure to specify a preference for any element — including but not limited to color palette, typography, layout, composition, background, imagery treatment, cropping, effects, mood, or overall style — waives any right to a refund on the basis of that unspecified element.

5. Creative Interpretation Reserved

Design is inherently subjective. Wett Edits expressly reserves the sole right of creative interpretation with respect to every element of the design that is not explicitly specified by the customer at the time of order.

Dissatisfaction with subjective creative choices, artistic style, or interpretation is not a valid basis for a refund, chargeback, or other remedy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all such matters lie within Wett Edits' sole professional judgment.

6. Revisions Are Not Refunds

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, each order includes one (1) round of minor revisions consisting of small adjustments such as text corrections, minor repositioning, or reasonable color changes.

Requests involving significant redesigns, new concepts, additional graphics, or substantial creative changes may require an additional fee at Wett Edits' sole discretion.

Submission of a revision request is not, and shall not be construed as, a request for a refund. A completed order that has been revised in accordance with this Policy is deemed delivered and non-refundable.

7. Non-Delivery Due to Wett Edits

In the rare event that Wett Edits is unable to deliver an order due to circumstances solely attributable to Wett Edits, the remedy shall be, at Wett Edits' sole election, either (a) redelivery or completion of the order, or (b) a refund of the amount paid for the affected order.

Delays caused by incomplete customer submissions, revision requests, force majeure events, or any factor outside Wett Edits' reasonable control do not entitle the customer to a refund.

8. No Chargebacks

You agree not to initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal against Wett Edits without first contacting Wett Edits in good faith and providing a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Filing a chargeback in violation of this Policy, or in a manner inconsistent with the customer's obligations under the Terms of Service and this Policy, may be treated as a breach of contract and may result in Wett Edits pursuing recovery of the disputed amount plus reasonable costs and fees.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable payment network rules or consumer protection laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wett Edits disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Wett Edits does not warrant that any design will meet every personal preference or subjective expectation of the customer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wett Edits' total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to any order, including any refund, credit, or other remedy, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

In no event shall Wett Edits be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation lost profits, lost opportunities, lost scholarships, lost sponsorships, reputational harm, emotional distress, or business interruption.

Nothing in this Policy excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

11. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

12. Severability

If any provision of this Policy is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Changes to This Policy

Wett Edits may update this Policy from time to time.

The version posted on the website at the time of your order shall govern that order.
